Hizbollah’s leader maintained that “no matter the scale of threats, we will neither retreat nor yield, and we will not be defeated. Issue your threats as you will – those on the frontlines do not bow their heads and remain resolute in the face of tyranny… the Israeli enemy will not remain on a single inch of our occupied land, and our people will return to their lands”. Relatedly, the commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force asserted that “the heroic resistance of Hizbollah in Lebanon has proven that the narratives being communicated by the child-killing Zionist regime [ie, Israel] claiming the end of resistance and the destruction of Hizbollah are nothing but lies…  The [entire] arenas of resistance are standing by the heroic Hizbollah’s side stronger and more cohesively than ever”. Meanwhile, the Israeli military reported striking Hizbollah sites in southern and eastern Lebanon.
