What Does Feminist Peace Action Look Like in a World Shaped by War, Inequality and Crisis?
At a time when militarism is escalating, inequalities are deepening, and communities are facing overlapping crises, WILPF is choosing to tell a different story. Today, we are proud to launch our 2025 Annual Report, reimagined as a living 2026 calendar.
Instead of publishing a traditional report, we asked ourselves: What if our accountability could also be a tool for action? What if our stories could live alongside you all year long?
The result is Stories of Feminist Peace, a human-centred, intersectional storytelling journey that reflects the depth, diversity and power of our global movement. Across twelve beautifully illustrated months, you’ll encounter the people at the heart of our movement: feminist peace activists organising in their communities, confronting militarism in all its forms, advancing justice across borders and building alternatives grounded in care, solidarity and collective security.
Each month tells a story rooted in lived experience, spanning regions, generations, and strategies. Together, they reflect the richness of a movement that understands peace as inseparable from justice.
Continue the Journey
You can explore the full calendar from January through December in two ways:
- Explore the digital calendar on our website and share it electronically (updates coming soon!)
- Download the printable PDF calendar to read offline, share with your community, or use in your advocacy.
Follow Along All Year
Throughout 2026, we’ll spotlight one story each month on our social media channels (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X (Twitter) and Bluesky), sharing powerful voices and moments from WILPF feminist peace activists around the world. Follow along, share the stories and use them to spark conversation and action.
In a world shaped by war and inequality, feminist peace is organised, global, and already in motion.
