Foreign Minister Araghchi maintained that the Strait of Hormuz “from our perspective, it is open. It is only closed to our enemies, to those who carried out unjust aggression against our country and to their allies”. Meanwhile, a senior IRGC commander warned: “If the intelligent control of the strait reshaped oil pricing for you, an attack on Kharg would create an even more severe and unprecedented equation for global energy rates and distribution”.
