President Trump said the Iranians “want to negotiate badly, as they should, but I don’t think they’re ready to do what they have to do… We will finish the job”. The following day, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that “we have not sent [the adversaries] any messages, and have not asked for a ceasefire, but this war should end in a way that would not repeat itself in another form”.
