The IDF’s chief of staff asserted that “we must… be prepared for a sequence of offensive actions across all theatres of war”, adding: “The IDF is preparing for a number of possibilities, and we must remain alert and constantly ready for decisive [victory] in a multi-front war”. In remarks the same day, Prime Minister Netanyahu underscored: “we are monitoring what is happening and are prepared for any scenario. Whoever attacks us will face unbearable consequences”.
