The UN Security Council extended the mandate of targeted Yemen sanctions and the Panel of Experts focused on the Houthis. The U.S. welcomed the “new requirements for the Panel to report on the flow of dual-use components and precursor chemicals that enable the Houthis’ weapons program”. The Houthi political bureau denounced the move as “unjust, politicised and hostile”.
