U.S. Special Envoy Steve Witkoff said: “Iran needs to change its ways. They need do that. And if they do, if they indicate that they’re willing to do that, I think we can diplomatically settle this”. He added that the U.S. “did not have that sense yet” that Tehran was inclined for a diplomatic resolution, adding: “I think we need to build that communication channel… we are moving in a direction where we could have that conversation, if they’re willing to have that conversation”.
