Prime Minister Netanyahu asserted that Israel had “had an unbelievable success – by degrading Iran, which was a first-rate power. Now it’s a second-rate or third-rate power”. He added that “there’s still some work to be done with the proxies, but we’re doing it”. Netanyahu further posited that “if you have a change [in Iran], it will come from within. It’s up to the Iranian people, and we understand what they’re going through, and we’re very sympathetic to them”.
